Sarah Muir-Smith is an artist, facilitator and designer exploring how local craft can be in service of the living world. Working with weeds, green waste and abundant plant material, she uses basketry to make habitat structures for native fauna, in collaboration with ecologists, landcare groups and local communities. She designs and runs workshops on human–nature connectedness through craft, treating making as a way of caring for shared places.
