Louise McArthur is a flax-centred material artist making site-responsive textile works shaped by the ecological and temporal conditions of landscape. Growing, processing, dyeing and hand-constructing raw flax, she develops material-led methods in which the landscape acts as a teacher, shaping both process and outcome. Trained in clothing design, she now works with fibre to explore ecological entanglement, material behaviour and cultural restoration.
